"these really almost are two-star, what with tow box too short for socks so that the fat seam lands at the edge of the big toenail. yanking it around is to no avail. it is exceptionally irritating. also, with each passing year, the cotton content goes down. i have some black mini-crews from a few years ago that are 80-82% cotton versus these which are 70%. synthetics over-heat my feet, unfortch. sigh."
