"snagged in 2 different places on first wear. also “tan“ is misleading. it’s actually lighter than my natural skin tone so my legs looked more pale than they would without tights. I swear I would pay hundreds of dollars for tights that are good quality at this point. back to the drawing board"

Poor sizing, recommend sizing up

"Unfortunately, these tights were much, much smaller than expected. That plus the inherently delicate nature of low denier tights caused them to rip on the first wear. A real bummer since the tights have a nice finish that’s slightly satiny without being shiny. I weigh 130 so I ordered a size 2, which says it’s for 120–170. Out of the package, I couldn’t even pull them on fully. I wore them lounging around the house to gently stretch out the fibers, but they still ripped on the first outing. At this price point I may give them another shot, sizing up to 3 or 4, but I’m not clamoring to do so."

QUALITY IS SEVERELY CHANGED FOR THE WORSE

"Completely different hose! I have been wearing these forever. The last order arrived and I was shocked at the quality - no support, hardly any control top, and they are so much longer. My size 2 almost reaches my neck! PLEASE go back to the quality I’ve known for years. I am a flight attendant and rely on these for everyday work hose. This is bad!"

Disappointed Change in Age Defiance Control Top

"The Age Defiance control top pantyhose have changed from what I have used for years. They have a lot less spandex and the natural color I loved is now a dark tan. They need to go back to what worked. I am now going to have to find a new favorite with another brand"

what on earth happened? they've (sadly) changed!

"I totally agree with the previous review. I LOVED these pantyhose!! Now, they do seem darker (I always got the natural, but they are more a dull tan now), the stretch is loose and there's much less compression, but in a not-good way. The compression was a selling point for me. They've become like any other normal hose. Nothing special. I'm heartbroken."

What Happened to the spandex, color, and length?

"There must have been changes in the Age Defiance Control Top style that I have been ordering and using for many years due to venous insufficiency. The material has MUCH less spandex, the size 2 is about 4-5 inches longer than the former style, and the hose slides around and up and down on the leg. Also, the beige color is several shades darker than the former style. I compared the two different styles, one original and the new one, and they are nothing alike. Very disappointed."
