HUE is owned by Kayser-Roth Corporation, a company dedicated to doing its part to save the planet. We continually strive to improve our process, products and packaging to reduce our carbon footprint, including:
We re-use or recycle an impressive 80% of the “waste” materials created in our North Carolina, USA facilities, including cartons, shipping containers, plastics and fiber. These manufacturing facilities are equipped with environmentally friendly designs such as skylights and high-efficiency lighting, low liquid dyeing processes and higher efficiency utility equipment.
We have started making a portion of our socks on closed toe machinery. This new way of manufacturing eliminates waste that would otherwise be created with open toe machinery.
Kayser-Roth is also a partner in the COTTON LEADS™ initiative, a program committed to responsibly produced cotton, and seek (where applicable) domestic cotton suppliers who are part of this program.
